Odour Management Workshop
The Alberta Capital Airshed Alliance is hosting an Odour Management Workshop to bring air quality stakeholders together to discuss odour management practices in the Capital Region.

The all-day workshop will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Grant MacEwan University City Centre Campus, Edmonton Alberta. Cost for the workshop is $70.00 + GST and includes a continental breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Click here for agenda information.

Program and Registration Information

Who should attend the odour management workshop?

  • People  who  work in operations that generate odours such as municipal drainage systems, waste management facilities, oil and gas industries, food preparation industries and who want to learn about best management practices;
  • People who work for municipalities and private industries who want to know how to deal with the public when odour issues arise; and,
  • People who want to gain a better understanding of the legality surrounding odour and how legislation can be used to manage odour.

The ACAA is in the final stages of drafting a set of monitoring network recommendations for review by the members.
