ACAA Business Plan Review
The ACAA is nearly half way through the implementation of the 2009-11 business plan. In 2010 members will be asked to review the current business plan. The ACAA has evolved and the context for air management in Alberta has also evolved since the inception of the organization in 2006. By examining our current plan we can be assured that the vision and goals of the Alliance are still aligned with ACAA members interests. Members are also asked to consider how we will continue to work toward our goals after 2011.
Funding Formula Approved April 2010
In 2009 the ACAA initiated the review of the organizational funding formula. Based on the commitment to a fee schedule founded on the emitter-pay principle the review committe recomended a new funding formula that is equitable and fair to all members. The revised formula is a major step toward funding core business activities through membership rather than grants; the new formula replaces the interim membership fee schedule implemented at our inception.
The funding formula was ratified at the ACAA annual general meeting on April 21, 2010. For more information on the work of the Funding Formula Sub-Committee, please contact us.
